After having connected all the components of our quadcopter, it’s now time to configure the Flight Control Board connecting it to the PC.

Before watching the videotutorial, you have to install the latest version of the OpenPilot software, available on the official site. The install process is very simple and well explained on the wiki.

Here’s the videotutorial, as usual english subtitles are available:

The setup wizard guides you in a step-by-step configuration of the multicopter and in the calibration of ESCs, motors and sensors.

The OpenPilot GCS (Ground Control Station) software has a very simple and understandable GUI:

gcs-config gcs-main
