Today I wrote a sketch that merges the previous ones: reads the temperature from a thermistor (connected to PIN A0) and displays it driving two nixie tubes.
I also added a third nixie, to display symbol °C. This tube is not controlled by Arduino but it’s directly connected to the power supply (and therefore it’s always on):
The sketch is available on Github, here’s a video about how it works:
Bon giorno,
is the themometer able to display 3 digit temperature (no celsius, but third digit) to show temperatures between 100° and 350° C ??? it will probably take a different sensor that will NOT melt and is able to messure this temp range
if so – i´m VERY interessted
Hi Markus, of course with some small modifications you can display 3 digits… at the moment the schematics (and the PCB) is missing the control circuitry (chip, connections…) for the third nixie as we only need to light up the segment corresponding to the “°C” symbol.
